Postcard US-4005401 to Thailand was a vintage card from the 1960s, with a view of Engineer Mountain Vista in autumn from the Million Dollar Highway, US 550 between Durango and Silverton in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado.

Volkswagen Samba Bus
Postcard US-3202842 from Los Angeles was a vintage travel postcard by Lantern Press showing a Volkswagen Samba Bus cruising along the Los Angeles coast. First produced in 1951, Samba-Bus, also known as Deluxe Microbus, was the most luxurious version of the Volkswagen Transporter T1 with panoramic windows and a fabric roof. It became popular as a hippie bus in the 1960s.

American Alligator
Postcard US-2749105 from Louisiana shows an American alligator, Louisiana state reptile designated in 1983. Louisiana boasts 15 alligator bayous alone. In the early 1960s, Louisiana alligators were almost extinct. However, after years of conservation efforts, its status has upgraded to "Least Concern". Florida also adopted the American alligator as its state reptile in 1987.
